Celebration

The Association celebrated its 10th anniversary and Lake Appreciation Day with a barbecue picnic on the shores of Mirror Lake.
Jim Grant was presented with the annual Frog Award for his continued work to clean up the lake bottom and its shoreline. The Frog Award is an annual award given to an individual or organization instrumental in protecting or
enhancing Mirror Lake and its watershed.
There were a number of informative exhibits and a drawing for raffle items: a book on gardening, a bottle of earth-friendly cleaning solution, organic potting soil, and a bag of natural organic lawn fertilizer. Many thanks to the MLWA, Carol Fox and Ace Hardware for the donations.
