2004 (First) Annual Meeting and Lake Appreciation Celebration
July 15, 2004 at the Village Beach House

The Association held a first annual meeting on a lovely evening on the shores of Mirror Lake.  The event highlighted the Association's activities and featured a presentation by the Adirondack Cooperative Loon Program.

The Village Board of Lake Placid was presented with the first annual Frog Award for their work in protecting Mirror Lake water quality.  The Board installed Vortechs® structures along Mirror Lake Drive to clean stormwater before it reaches Mirror Lake.

The Frog Award will be an annual award given to an individual or organization instrumental in protecting or enhancing Mirror Lake and its watershed.

We were also treated to a number of historical photographs of Mirror Lake as well as a wonderful rainbow!
