On February 6 at the Annual Conference of the New York State Chapter of the American Fisheries Society the Mirror Lake Watershed Association was awarded the “Conservationist of The Year ” Award. This award goes to a non-professional, volunteer group or individual that has shaped the environment and fisheries in NYS, and the work across the Mirror Lake Watershed to help improve the quality of water, fisheries and aquatic food webs in general is very impressive.
Accepting the Award is Bill Billerman, Chair of the Association and Margaret Murphy, former Board member of the Association.
